Like many young boys of my generation, my first encounter with handheld gaming came in the form of LCD games. Although Nintendo’s GameBoy would come along to shake the very foundations of my little world when I was but 7 years old,  I was still fascinated by these more primitive toys.

I was lucky enough to own an original Legend of Zelda Game & Watch as well as Tiger’s Street Fighter II. I have no idea what happened to my Zelda G&W but a couple of years ago I attempted to track one down on eBay where, much to my horror, I couldn’t find one for less than £50!!!

Luckily, the creators of Pica-Pic.com have started porting many old LCD classics as flash games, so that aging gamers can get their LCD gaming fix without spending a small fortune.

The Pica-Pic guys have already ported around 25 titles including Zelda (above), Donkey Kong Jr, Mickey & Donald, Castle Adventure and The Terminator!
