Continuing the theme of sharing stuff from the darkest corners of my Flash folder, i think it only right to share the game that started it all…
The main reason I became interested in learning Flash was because I knew you could make games in it.
A friend of mine showed me the basics of tweening and how to use buttons and using these very basic tools i realised i could make a simple shooting gallery type game. That game ended up as ‘House of 1000 Identical Corpses’.
I stuck this up on Newgrounds where it won the daily 2nd place portal award. Not bad for a first attempt.
The zombies all look a bit like ‘The Mask’, the art is pretty shitty, but I admire my youthful ambition. I managed to include multiple locations, a cut scene with voice acting, a boss fight and even an end credits sequence with music I composed myself!
The game is rock hard and loaded with bugs, but it was the first video game I ever made and I wanted to share it with the world.
